Bear Mountain Boats have been synonymous with performance in the C4 and C15 racing classes for many years. Canoe clubs across Canada train and race in these boats, whose design is limited only by length, beam and minimum weight. The new C15 design was created in 1999 and the C4 in 2002 with the focus on a slightly faster but more controllable hull. More rocker forward and maximum beam further aft is what distinguishes these boats from their predecessors. Bear Mountain builds in cedar strip wood epoxy construction and produces about 5 of these boats per year.
